Beginning and end of the day:

School starts at 8:50, and finishes at 3:10

Parents/guardians are asked to ensure that children's clothing is labelled with the child's name, please.

Play time snacks

Your child is welcome to bring a fruit/vegetable snack to eat during morning break.

Physical Education

Your child will need a PE Kit. This includes: a white t-shirt and black shorts/trousers, please. Your child will come to school in an exercise uniform on the following days:

Welsh Stream: 

English stream: 

Year 3 and 4 will attend swimming lessons during the Spring Term for a block of three weeks. A swimsuit and towel will be required every day during this time. Pupils with long hair will require a swimming cap. Your child is welcome to bring goggles.

Collecting your child

Parents/guardians need to ensure that the school has information relating to the people who will collect the children from school on a daily basis along with your child's personal password. We need this information to ensure the safety of the children. If you would like your child to walk to the car park/home, can you send written permission to the school. 

Reading

Reading books to your child will be sent daily, and we ask that they be returned to school daily. This will allow your child to read with you at home and then have further opportunities to practice reading at school normally. Your child will also receive a library book, this can be returned when your child has finished reading the book.

Homework

Language homework will be sent in your child’s homework book every Monday, and is to be completed by Thursday. Maths homework will be posted on Microsoft Teams every Thursday to be completed by Monday.
